GGajewski18
Recently DFA'd by the Braves today. Yes he has had injuries, but when healthy, he was a key member of the pen. 1. Are you interested in him as being a low risk high reward type guy? 2. Would you claim him off waivers?
TheFutureIsNear
I would do my due diligence on him, but I'm going to go out on a limb and say he was DFA'd for a reason. 2 Tommy John's is rough. I'd say there's a good chance he 'll never even be close to the same.
2nd_city_saint787
He's expected to miss all of 2015....I'm not sure what to think of him at this point.

Bob Sacamano
QUOTE (SoxPride18 @ Nov 19, 2014 -> 10:01 PM) Oh he did have another one? Wow, i didn't see that. My apologies board. No worries. I thought the same at first, but after doing some digging I noticed that he hasn't even pitched since 2012 and that he had his third TJ surgery fairly recent. bjm676
I'm no doctor, but where do they get the ligaments from on the third surgery?
witesoxfan
QUOTE (robinventura23 @ Nov 20, 2014 -> 11:08 AM) I'm no doctor, but where do they get the ligaments from on the third surgery? A harvested tendon (often the palmaris tendon)—from the forearm of the same or opposite elbow, from below the knee (known as the patellar tendon), or from a cadaver http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tommy_John_surgery

And with that, I'll return to the shadows.
