I liked the Koch deal and the Jimenez deal and the Marte deal turned out great as well.

Michelle, remember, supposedly the Expos Gm won't deal without giving Williams one last shot. So he can worry about this and know that he still has a shot at the other guys.

Of course thats if that statement is true.

Ya, billy has been around for what 3 weeks and he is already starting some trouble.. my kind of guy. He if you are right about konerko, that would mean PK started talking in the clubhouse about Frank and well then he is gone and the Koch opens his mouth and well he will be gone in the near future also. hahaha

jas the expos are in so far over their heads right now, no one is going to make any decient moves untill they are done up there in montreal... you watch the snowball head downward......i honestly do not believe that for one minute kw has something actually decient to offer montreal that they couldnt get better elsewhere.....i mean really what do we have that they could possibly want... out side of a few minor leaguers..(which your definately not going to get a colon type for)... what else do we have that we can readily give up????????

garland is legit yes, but they will want alot more then just garland and some minor leagers to give up. Who ever we would give up we would probably have to eat some money on top of it, but remember the Yanks are in the hunt. and what they hunt.... they capture.

Garland and Caballo should get you Colon. That deal is better then the So called Red Sox deal, and to me is also better then the Yankees offer.

The Expos will also like the deal more if they can part with Vidro's salary as well, cause the more you can get rid of in one deal the more they like it or at least thats what the Expos gm has hinted at.

But no deal, IMO, matches the Red deal that would be for Colon alone....Adam Dunn AND Felipe Lopez for Colon? You have got to be s***tin' me! Colon ain't that damn good.

If the Reds do in fact make that offer, than I will most definately pull out of the race. Something tells me they will pull out though.

as we speak here its being reported on the espn wire that the reds are having a hard time making the deal with the expos... so im guessing its pretty safe to say they are out of it.. that leaves bosox and yanks.........

And I believe both the Yankees and Red Sox took their bids for Colon out...so that leaves....

...the Marlins as the only team left who have shown public interest in Colon.

And if Manaya is true to his word, the Sox could probably put in a bid just a little better than their's.

Not that we're going to get him or anything...just wishful thinking.

Actually, the Yanks might be out of it. They are talking with Clemens agent, if they can get a deal done, they'll drop out of the Colon derby.
