Rowand44
I am not a college student but I'm living in Missouri, no excuse though, I'll be going to at least 5 games this year. Edited December 14, 2014 by Rowand44

bmags
While I don't think that telling a group who is actively posting about baseball on a baseball message board in December is your target audience, I will say this: talk about the white sox on social media, at work, and to your friends. Get the word out that baseball is back. I've said it before but I'm glad Cubs are going to be good. Baseball will be back in Chicago for first time in a while. Let people know sox are going to be great.
BaconOnAStick
I've always maintained the deep down, when both teams are good, Chicago is a baseball town at heart. There's something about the intracity rivalry and the 'come out to play' dynamic when the weather improves. Especially now with the Bears being a dumpster fire. thxfrthmmrs
QUOTE (WKamm @ Dec 14, 2014 -> 07:07 AM) After they signed a cheater? Hell, no!!!! If you don't like the players on the team, maybe you should stop watching the team on TV altogether. Using the PED card as reason not to go to a game is kind of baffling. Whitey
Last Sunday, I got the full season plan... Its going to take up all of my overtime money for the next 4 months to pay for them, but I don't mind. My kids are getting older, and looking back I wish I did was more things like going to the ballpark with them. So, the time is now for me. Works out perfect that the time is now for the Sox as well. Baron
I'll probably go see them play the Astros or the Rangers. Either way it's a pretty decent drive.
southsider2k5
QUOTE (thigpen89 @ Dec 14, 2014 -> 07:24 AM) Hey everyone, I'm new here (my first post) but I've been reading the forum for a few weeks now since I made the jump from the White Sox official message board. I just moved to Houston so I'll be catching all three games at the end of May. I can't wait to take my new son to his first Sox games! Love a lot of the moves we made! Welcome to Soxtalk! black jack
I haven't been to the Cell in years. The last Sox game I saw live was in Milwaukee when Buehrle hit the homer. I've had three kids since then and my oldest is now five. Asked him last year if he wanted to go and he always said no. I guess I was just waiting for him to want to. Needless to say, I'll be dragging him to the south side a few times this summer!
GoodAsGould
Im hoping to make it to 2-3 games this year, I really want to sit first row behind a dugout just no idea how much that'd cost.
venom4789
so pick 7 game plans go on sale tuesday for non season ticket holders, gonna have to pick one up, will probaly get rid of a crosstown ticket if i get one, to much douchbaggery goes on at those games. My exact same plan. If like to do a pick14 but frankly I'd rather go to a bunch of June/July /August games. Not much for May/April.

Baron
I'll probably buy the pick 7. What seats do you guys normally get for those?
Eminor3rd
QUOTE (WKamm @ Dec 14, 2014 -> 08:21 AM) Went to 2 games last year. No, I don't like Harper. Having both Melky and FLowers is too much. I legitimately feel sorry for you. It must be frustrating to be so caught up in some off-the-field crap that it interferes with your ability to root for your team in a rational way. Dick Allen
I used to be an anti steroids guy myself and would have a hard time cheering for a known cheater. But I realized many of the people I did root for cheated in the same way but just didn't get caught. The sport has embraced cheating since the beginning. We don't call out a guy who traps a ball but makes it look like he caught it and getting the call (before replay) as a cheater. It's a smart play. Isn't pitch framing basically cheating? jamesdiego
Haven't been to games in awhile. But will for sure this year, gotta love that the moves I don't want to buy a plan, schedule is too erratic. How do guys get decent deals on spur of the moment tix? justBLAZE
I hope to see a lot of games over the season in different ballparks, def going to make spring training this year. Hoping I can make it for SoxFest.
bigruss
My manager and I talked about this last week, we are holding ourselves to going to at least 5 games this year. The team should perform well and they deserve our support with these types of moves.
ShandyMan
I'm going to try my best. Being in graduate school puts a limit on my budget, but having 3 months off may-august will allow me to attend some of the cheaper games. Shooting for 10-15 after 6 games last year
daggins
Living in Boston means that I can't support the team as much as i'd like. That won't stop me from buying an Abreu shirsey and wearing it to those three games in July.
Balta1701
I should be able to get to the 2 games they play in Pittsburgh next June.

I live too far away to get to more than 1-2 games per year, but if your boss hires me so I can move closer, I'll commit to at least 5 games as well
