That's...weird?

Committed $25 million to him last February, he's 24 years old. Great glove, supposedly. He hit really well in AAA, got in a fight, then was sent to AA and couldn't hit a lick after that. Very odd.

Is this revocable waivers? I don't remember how that works in the offseason. They may just be trying to make space on their roster based on the assumption that nobody will want to pay him. They could just pull him back if somebody does claim him.

Too much money for what looks like a flyer prospect at this point.

well he is a glove only kind of a player who may play above avg defense at SS. his

bat is really bad, can he improve, only the baseball gods and the baseball experts

can tell.

dodgers paid 7.5 mil in a signing bonus and last yr 3 mil in salary of a 4 or 5 yr

contract i think.

scouting rpt, play with Jose A and Puig as a youngster.

I would trade Sale for him simply to hear Melton pronounce his name during ST.

welcome to the board.

i know you mention trading Sale for this joke of hearing Melton saying his name,

but really Sale???

I know, unrealistic. Throw in Abreu.

Jokes aside I don't think depth at SS is a pressing issue. He's an interesting name based on how much the Dodgers invested in him (and the aforementioned Melton pronunciation) but I think there are more immediate needs than what he can potentially provide.

if you are talking about the player and playing with the sox, yeah, i mention that, but

the salary is a little too much, it seems.
