The last time the Cubs had a pretty good club for several years with young big-time talents the Sox won a WS. It isn't great for the Sox if the Cubs end up playing well, but we'll make it.

Cubs are about to make the white sox a non entity. Say what you want but that organization has built itself into something. Arrieta and Rizzo are the moves that are defining them.

We're pretty much already a non-entity, and we were even when the Cubs were losing 90 games a year. What the Cubs do won't really change anything with regards to that.

Bloody hell, we could have done this. Get Rick Hahn hired somewhere in 2011-2012, have Hahn trade great talent to us for pennies on dollar, then hire Hahn as KWs replacement in 2013 as we did.

Cubs bring in Montero and Fowler, who have been awesome for them. Between them and KC, why can't the Sox get offensive guys to perform well after a move

Do Jermaine Dye and Jim Thome still count?

If we stick ourselves back in a time warp with AJ, Dye, Thome and/or Carlos Quentin in 2008...and Pods in the first half of 2005 stealing bases at will, heck, would love to have the equivalent of Iguchi at 2B, too.

After that, it's just Ramirez and Abreu.

Bryant's homer today landed in the front row with the wind blowing out.ESPN stats said in normal weather, Wrigley Field is the only park that is a home run. Its not who you play, but where you play em.

Pretty disappointing wind blowing out performance by both lineups, the O/U was 11.
