coco1997
The Cubs have Mark Melancon's number this year. What a joke.
OmarComing25
Castro has been great the past month. No one wanted him at the trade deadline, but now the Cubs might be able to find a taker for him in the off-season.
Buehrle>Wood
Wheye do the cubs rank with a runner on 3rd less than 2 outs? Can't imagine very good with the way they K. And they do it twice in a row there. I feel like the lack of ability to manufacture could kill them.

caulfield12
That was crazy 2-3 years ago when the Pirates' fans pretty much destroyed Cueto. Will there be a sequel?
LittleHurt05
Wasn't sure where else to post this, but Rich Hill has 3 straight 10 strikeout starts, including a CGSHO tonight. Yes, that Rich Hill.

Yes, that Rich Hill. I picked him up in my fantasy league and his performance might win me the league. Who would have thought Rich Hill would pitch in the Majors again, let alone be really good at it?

LittleHurt05
White is baseball the one sport where teams have huge champagne celebrations after every playoff series? When a WC team wins it all, they go crazy 5 times in a month. You don't see NBA or NHL teams popping bottles (in the locker room) after every single playoff series. Buehrle>Wood
I'm pretty sure a lot of the WC teams haven't done the big celebrations in recent years, particularly the 2nd place ones.

LittleHurt05
QUOTE (OmarComing25 @ Sep 26, 2015 -> 05:17 PM) Meh, it's their first playoff birth in 7 years. I'm not calling out the Cubs, everybody does it, seeing them just made me think about it. I understand the celebration after clinching a playoff berth, given how much of a 162 game grind the MLB season is. But why does it happen after every playoff series, sometimes just a week later?
