Decided to watch True Detective this past weekend, finished season 1 and caught up with season 2.

First season was really good, but the pacing of the show feels slow. It takes a while to actually get into it.

2nd episode really picked up. Even without the surprise ending.

True Detective....

My dad's initial thought was bean bag rounds, since there was no blood splatter. And I think he has to be right.

Yeah I immediately thought rock salt or something.

Any new shows this past spring or that have started this summer worth a watch? Think I will watch Mr. Robot but looking for something else me and my fiancee can watch

I heard humans on AMC was pretty good last night.

I watch Last Ship, Ballers, and True Detective.

If you're already watching True Detective and Ballers, just stay on HBO and watch the Brink, it's hilarious.

And then keep staying on HBO and watch Last Week Tonight with John Oliver, because it's the best show on television.

Tim Robbins is outstanding on The Brink.

I really liked Bloodline on Netflix.

I liked the beginning and the last two episodes. Felt the middle 5 were sort of weak but thought the series was solid although not one of Netflix's best.

I'm on board with The Brink as well. Is Carla Gugino in every HBO show? Not that I'm complaining.

Going to wait on Ballers. It just looks dumb.

It's harmless fun. Nothing to take seriously.

Started binging on X-Files. Hope to be done by Jan for the miniseries. 200 episodes. Wooo

Yeah, I might give The Brink a try.

I had an hour and watched two episodes yesterday. It's actually not bad. I mean it's not award winning or anything, but it's a fun show. Lots of nice cars, nice houses, and hot women.

HBO's got a nice 2 hour block of good shows right now.

True Detective Spoiler below:

So I guess this was a production still sent to media before the season started:

they pretty much revealed it in the previews for next week tho.... they said one of my men got "shot"... not murdered\killed. guess it's just non-lethal rounds

also the psychiatrist looked so familiar.... couldn't place him... it's Rick Springfield.
