whitesox247
Well, its official, Mike Maroth has 20 losses.... I really didnt think he could be a 20 game losing pitcher, but when your team is Detroit, its not too hard... He did get roughed up today though, getting his 20th loss on an 8 E.R. performance Damn, I was sure he was gonna go to "mysterious illness" mode. whitesoxfan99
Minnesota only up 8-7 now. Texas scores 5 in the 4th.
elrockinMT
Hmmm they intentiontally walked Konerko. If someone told u in the first half of the year that Paulie would be intentionally walked, well they probably would have thought u'd be crazy. It's a testament to him fighting back and playing great again. Many of us kept the faith in Konerko while others fiddled.

BridgeportHeather
Blake walks, putting a runner at first with one out. That's Garland's third walk of the game.
elrockinMT
I am following the game by the thread and on MLB game day. It most certainly appears from the MLB chart that Jon has control going tonight. 5 or 6 pitches to Crisp and all on the outside corner for strikes and all lined up on top of each other. Am I seeing the right thing?

His pitch count is at 85 at the moment. Not that high really.

You don't want to jinx the guy, but Jon has really turned it up the second half and I for one am certainly glad we didn't trade him. He walks a guy and comes back with the DP grounder. Great stuff. DBAHO
We need Jon to keep pitching like this in the remaining games. It he can win the rest of them, our chances of winning the division will significantly increase big time.

Buehrle and Loaiza seem rather automatic right now.

What happened out there Heather? Was it at the wall or something? Maggs hit that is.

I for one was just sick over his 2 hitter (home runs) loss by the score of 2-1.
