OG Hahn has done it without crippling us via sending out talent nor has he went for any ridiculous contracts. The Robo deal could be construed as out there I suppose, but it certainly fills a huge need.

i am in agreement. the Robo deal was needed, i am in the thinking

of the contract and wouldn't someone else have been a cheaper

option. saving the money and maybe getting another piece. either

way, since they, the sox brass in not doing that, then

getting Robo was the best rt.

hindsight .... you know what they say about that. :D

I'd prefer Micah. If it's Sanchez, he better be a whiz defensively cause he ain't a hitter, right?

Sanchez hit .293/.349/.412 in 494 PAs in AAA last year. He may be an OK hitter at the majors but likely nothing special.

Theres nothing I can complain about in the slightest.

oh come on, you know me, the glass is always half full. even when it is overflowing over the rim.

I predict John Danks will have a good year, maybe a 15 game winner. There is no logic behind it other than he's another season past the injury.

i really like him, not in the beginning, but last yr and his bulldog mentality. i still remember how he ran into the pitching area between breaks to work on a pitch. he was in the dugout and someone was showing him something, then between innings he jog to the pitching pen to work on it. that show a single minded, bulldog side that he will continue to work on his stuff.

so over 10 wins and 175+ innings, i am looking for, anything more is pure gravy esp in the playoff.

i am catching up on the sat updates from the fest. the 1 thing that stood out was the not so happy backing of Davidson that the sox brass are showing, but to express that. wow, he must have really pissed off some one.

i wonder if they asked him to a winter session and he said no??? i just don't know what will piss off the FO, that bad.

I really hope the mechanical changes they made in Sept make a difference, though I am not holding my breath.
