Shall we all make guesses on the first name that Melton will butcher? He already kept referring to our new closer as "David Robinson" at SoxFest, but I'm wondering when the games start and he has theoretically asked people how to say these names, and he STILL messes half of them up, who will be the first victim.

The first victim will be the first name.

Just a little reminder that WGN games will not air outside the Chicago market anymore. Although I'd rather watch BTVS than the Cubs....it really sucks we get screwed out of White Sox broadcasts

That is f***ing horses***.

Yep this is bulls***. MLB needs to change their blackout rules ASAP. All they are doing is asking for people to illegally stream their games. There is now no legal way for me to watch the WGN games.

The Rodon/Rondon thing has to stop from everyone. It's Rodon. And he's a stud. So we should remember his name. Brian Hanley yesterday morning called him Hector Rondon.

My all time favorite was he repeatedly called Fausto Carmona, Carmen Faustino or something like that.

Are you sure he wasn't talking about Hector Rondon?

Regular season too I take it? So if the SOX are on WGN and you don't live in Chicago market, you won't be able to get the game? If so, that blows.

I always buy MLB.TV, but obviously like actually watching the games on a TV when I can. I generally steam the games on MLB.TV through my AppleTV so I can at least watch on the big screen but the video quality is only mediocre.

Yes, this is the way it will be from now on. Hey at least you can still watch them on MLB.tv. I'm in the Sox market so they are blacked out for me on there, but I am not close enough to Chicago to get the local WGN so I have no way legal way to watch any WCIU/WGN games.

That's just brutal. Hopefully the SOX fix this.

I'm in the same boat out here in Spokane, WA. I remember reading a thread here somewhere about WGN not carrying any sports on their channel, but kinda blew it off because it wasn't even the start of the NBA season. Now the only way to catch any Bulls game here is on TNT or the NBA channel so I suppose the White Sox will be the same for me...yeah I'm a tightass when it comes to pay channels, but after so many years of watching games on WGN I got spoiled.

It isn't the Sox fault. WGN is getting out of the sports business.

The real problem is MLB's ridiculous blackout rules. I would have no problem paying for MLB.tv if I could get the games on there. Instead I am blacked out nationally from a game that is unavailable to me locally and that makes zero sense. MLB is hurting their product by not allowing my to watch in any way, shape or form unless I want to illegally stream it. They basically promote piracy with their blackout policy.
