Mine too

They were talking on the radio this morning and mentioned that Bushrod is healthy enough to play but was replaced by Leno.

Will be interesting to see how they handle Forte....

I think Bushrods back is really messed up. Biggs and Hub have both talked about it when they have called into the score. I think Forte is the starter when he is healthy, no doubt

Also, rumor going around that Rob Ryan has been fired. Peyton hasnt confirmed it

Bushrod's back is messed up, but Leno is young and is playing solid and seems to be getting better. He handled Quinn (who came off the bench this week as he still is recovering from an injury) and seemed to keep his stat sheet clean. It also seemed like Leno was getting less help in this game then previous games. I'm not saying he's a stud, but right now, I don't know why you'd turn away from Leno. We need to see what we have in him cause he looks like he might actually be a keeper on the left side. Note I said, looks like, I didn't say he is.

Bears could very well beat the Packers on Thanksgiving.

Packers just lost to the Lions(2-7) at home. Packers had 3 points going into the 4th quarter. 3!

We have had our fair share of surprising wins over Green Bay over the years, but whenever they're having problems, they seem to figure them out right before they play us. Last year's whole "Relax" thing, and this year, I'm sure they'll rebound from the sideline arguments and the loss to Detroit. They're the Packers, they always find a way.

I do, however, think the Thanksgiving game will at least be competitive, unlike our game at Lambeau last year.

Miller's TD was the longest passing TD in franchise history (according to the telecast).

I think they said "for a tight end"

"Longest Pass From Scrimmage - Bo Farrington caught 98-yard pass at the Detroit Lions, 10/8/61." - Wikipedia

Farrington was a TE too.

I looked in the year book, there were at least 3 90-yard TD plays in the 1960s.

98 yards - 10/8/61 - Bill Wade to Farrington

93 yards - 11/19/67 - Jack Concannon to Gordon

91 yards - 10/16/60 - Ed Brown to Dewveall

OK, so this one was the longest November 15 TD in franchise history. Announcers just forgot to specify the date.

So Charles Leno....is he a guy? Really haven't noticed him at all, which is a good thing.

Same for Long. If those 2 are OTs, that's huge.

Assuming they resign Alshon, and roll with Langford/Carey next year, an OG might be the only thing they need on offense. That would leave them with a lot of money and picks to really help the defense take yet another step forward.

I don't think that will be as easy as you think

I still think we are best having Long back inside and finding a solid RT. Lets go with the superstar guard and a solid RT. Have Slausson on the other guard spot and that is two maulers inside who will help our rookie and ideally two solid tackles. Reality is Bears probably stick with Long since it costs more to find a tackle then a guard.

PFF gave him the top career grade so far. (Fuller had the highest grade this past game. Zach Miller for offense)

Hah, I actually found that to be bad news. Manning has been awful. Osweiller may be better, and "below average" qb with that defense is very dangerous.

I mean, he was absolutely horrendous yesterday, but he was pretty damn good against the Packers.

I'd rather play Osweiler than a healthy Manning.

Well, agree to disagree. Manning has had a single good game this year. He has been probably one of the worst quarterbacks in the league. His "healthy" is now so bad that he cannot feel his fingers. He is the 2nd best qb I've ever watched, but I would much rather play him than Osweiler

Can't you franchise a player for 2 years now?

Yeah...I just meant we could do it next year no issue. A 2nd year makes it tougher on the player and the people around you (plus you take the big cap hit both years). I think something gets done. Fox had Jeffrey talk about getting to the finish line prior to the Chargers game so I think it shows Fox thinks highly / wants Jeffrey in that leadership role.
