Go Bucs today. Losing these last two can make a huge difference in draft position for the Bears.

Better to root for the young guys (Langford, Leno Jr., Fuller, Amos, Grasu, etc.) To play well to build for the future. I'd rather the Bears lose to help draft position, but I won't openly root against them.

Yeah, I don't give a f*** about that at this point. Them playing well in 2 meaningless games is meaningless to the future. f*** you Doug Martin.

Lol at Tampa. Get used to those types of games with Lovie in town.

Didn't realize it was Lovie who fumbled twice, threw the stupid INT that took away 3 points and grabbed the face mask to take away a turnover.

Besides Kwon Alexander, the Bucs have neglected the defensive side of the ball in the last two drafts. They've fixed the OL, drafted a franchise QB, drafted Evans and Simms. ASJ might be a player if he stays healthy. Now Sign a WR and fix the defense through the draft and keep building.

Ya, signing a wr will probably make Lovie figure out offense.

f*** the draft slot. Pace found Goldman, Amos, and Langford. If White & Grasu work out, that is one of the best drafts you'll see as most GM's are lucky to get 2 pieces in a draft. This could be 5.

If the Bears win next week, they *could* pick 20th. I hope not, but you could get a guy like Reggie Ragland or another impactful player

No but it was Lovie's defense that gave up 26 to Bellamy, Mariani and Royal at WR.

A defense that has 3 guys worth being a starter. Kwon Alwxander, Lavonte David and McCoy are the only players who are locks to be in the lineup next year. Of course you can't overhaul 8 other starting spots so there will be a few holdovers but that just shows how bad the personnel is.

Correct me if I am wrong, but doesn't Lovie have a lot of personnel pull?

He figured it out to the point where he brought in Dirk Koetter to run things. Winston was the butt of all jokes after the first 2-3 weeks of the season but he's been really good since then. He's made a few mistakes but he's a 21 year old rookie so that is expected. And I'm sure he will make some more mistakes next year too.

I know teams have injuries but starting two rookies on the OL, losing the starting RT in preseason, lost the starting C(may not have been the worst thing really but still), a rookie QB, losing two of your top three WRs and your opening day TE missed most of the year and the offense was top 10 in total yards entering the week.

No reason to think the offense won't be fine going forward with Koetter.

I was going to ask the same. He's had 2 drafts and 2 FA periods now. What's the issue?

Yes and in the last two drafts the Bucs drafted just 1 defensive player which was Kwon Alwxander.

Drafted Evans, Seferian-Jenkins,Simms,Winston, Ali Marpet and Donovan Smith. Only Simms doesn't start but he's been a big contributer this season. Whiffed on the 5-7th round picks though.

As for free agency, missed on those for most part but how often does free agency work in the NFL? There's a reason why teams that succeed do so through the draft and teams that overhaul their roster through free agency rarely have success.
