southsider2k5
QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Apr 27, 2015 -> 06:38 PM) McCarthy must be incredibly optimistic to have the attitude he does (see his twitter feed) after all those injuries. Of course, having the security of that new long-term deal tends to help. Brandon McCarthy @BMcCarthy32 · 15h 15 hours ago to be fair, 31 years of use is a lot to ask for from a ligament

Big Hurtin
QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Apr 23, 2015 -> 03:30 PM) This must have been the slowest run down ever. Wayne Randazzo @WayneRandazzo 37s37 seconds ago Bartolo Colon with a caught stealing 1 unassisted under his belt now this season, chasing down AJ Pierzynski, who was trying to steal. #Mets Please tell me there's video of this somewhere. The Ginger Kid
Sorry to hear that Kirk Gibson has been diagnosed with Parkinsons. What a great player.
Dick Allen
So those milestone HR paydays ARod is supposed to receive would actually cost the Yankees an additional 50% as they are over the luxury tax.

caulfield12
QUOTE (flavum @ Apr 28, 2015 -> 07:36 PM) Tanaka on the DL. Who didn't see that coming? Every GM in baseball saw that coming the day the contract was signed. Bullet (and a huge one) dodged by the White Sox there.

caulfield12
Springer and C. Carter have been garbage so far at the plate. Looking at their line-up, you would assume that Jose Altuve is their only threat. They've done quite a good job with some guys like McHugh and Keuchel that weren't so highly regarded. Roberto Hernandez/Fausto Carmona's pitching like he did five or six years ago with the Indians. Feldman's been decent. So you have 4 guys in the top 23 AL WHIP's. That's a major reason. Dick Allen
QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Apr 28, 2015 -> 09:02 PM) Every GM in baseball saw that coming the day the contract was signed. Bullet (and a huge one) dodged by the White Sox there. Why? He needs TJ surgery. For some reason he tried to avoid it, but as you told us, TJ surgery is no big deal. He'll be back 100% in no time.
