caulfield12
1. MD 2. MI (if LaVert returns) 3. WI (lose Kaminsky and maybe Dekker) 4. Purdue 5. Indiana (4/5 could easily switch depending on what transpires with Crean/personnel) 6. MSU (lose Trice/Valentine, adding 5 star recruit) 7. tOSU (Russell a huge loss to NBA, obviously) 8. Iowa (bubble team with 5-6 freshman mixed with a decent core of Uthoff/Gesell/Woodbury/Jok/Clemmons/Uhl, Uthoff becomes NBA first rounder and blossoms as he comes out from under Aaron White's shadow) 9. Illinois 10. Minnesota 11. NW (trending back up with Colllins, A BIT) 12. Nebraska (Petteway returns, can they get up off the deck?) 13. Rutgers (could easily be last...but they did mystifyingly beat WI) 14. PSU (loses Newbill) When you look at 7-12, you can make a million arguments for any of those teams being higher or lower. I'm 90% confident that Top 6...at least 4 or 5 of those teams will be there. Edited March 23, 2015 by caulfield12
fathom
Valentine's a junior, and I wouldn't be shocked if Melo Trimble goes pro. Without Melo, Maryland should be more in the 7-8 range.
RockRaines
Pretty aggressive to rank a team that wasn't good enough for the NIT that high in Michigan. OSU is fully dependent on the incoming class. They will be playing big minutes but it happens to be the best incoming class in the conference. Also have Trevor Thompson now eligible. Wisconsin loses a ton. Three NBA players. Edited March 23, 2015 by RockRaines

Who's the 3rd besides Kaminsky and Dekker? If Michigan gets Jaylen Brown, then they'd definitely be #1.
RockRaines
Right now Lavert is projected in the first round. I'd be shocked if he came back.

Wisconsin loses a ton. Three NBA players. MSU loses a ton as well. Both Dawson and Trice. Their guard play could be rough without Trice unless Forbes or Nairn make a big leap. Until the draft entrants and spring signings shake out, it's tough to grade this out. I'm pretty curious about Indiana's offseason. Aren't they oversigned by 2 and still recruiting? Without Melo, Maryland should be more in the 7-8 range. Ooops, confused him and Dawson. No chance he goes pro, right? Dawson's the one shaped like Kirby Puckett/NFL running back? (Sorry, never get to see the games until NCAA tourney every year.) Hayes, at this point, doesn't seem like he's a surefire 1st round draft pick or anything like that. I'd put him more in Aaron White territory, very late first round but more likely second round. Edited March 23, 2015 by caulfield12
Buehrle>Wood
Michigan will be closer to 12th than 2nd.
Brian
QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Mar 23, 2015 -> 06:29 PM) Michigan will be closer to 12th than 2nd. LoL. Even if LeVert leaves, they're the 5th or 6th best team in the B10 next year, barring anymore injuries. MAAR and Dawkins will only get better. If Michigan gets Jaylen Brown, then they'd definitely be #1. And the latest buzz on Diamond Stone is that he's down to Wisconsin and UConn and is slightly favoring Wisconsin at the moment. Him signing there would certainly keep them up at the top. Of course, I'm really hoping he goes to UConn and teams up with Brimah

Michigan looks like a middle of the pack team and a tourney team to me for next year. Interior play will still be weak but they will be really solid on the perimeter.
