caulfield12
QUOTE (Alexeihyeess @ Mar 29, 2015 -> 08:05 AM) Chris Sale is listed there as being 29. He turns 26 tomorrow. Good catch, you should email ESPN and ask for a correction. In the comments section, someone is already advocating on behalf of Jose Quintana/Dalllas Keuchel and against the likes of Liriano,Smyly and Gio. The usually arguments between SFG and LAD fans over postseason re Kershaw and Bumgarner. Essentially, we just missed with Eaton, Me. Cabrera, Samardzija and Quintana...to go along with Alexei, Abreu, Sale, Robertson and LaRoche. Edited March 29, 2015 by caulfield12
3GamesToLove
Of course Sale's ahead of Bumgarner. Sale is arguably behind only Kershaw and Felix overall, and many people would argue that... Kershaw (stands alone) Felix, Sale (gap) Everyone else, headed by Scherzer, etc Bumgarner is a top 10-15 pitcher in baseball whose amazing postseason run is coloring people's perceptions of his ability heading into this season. There are people who say they'd take him over Kershaw, who is in the midst of a historic run right now. Those people are morons.

And Felix even faded significantly in the 2nd half last year...doesn't QUITE have the nasty stuff he used to, but has learned to pitch without it instead of being a thrower. Not a Verlander like tail-dive, but noticeable.
