CubsSuck1
Marte is just simply amazing. He has really developed into a stud this year. This man should be our closer. One of the leagues best
southsider2k5
I am going to disagree with you. I want Damaso coming out of the pen in the 7th and 8th innings with the game on the line. He is just great in that bridge role, and no one else seems to be able to do it consistantly for us.
mike12345
keep him in the pen as a set up man which is jus tas important as a closer and hope koch can get his s*** together...

Our most dominating pitcher should be there in the 7th/8th keeping our lead while we try to get insurance and Gordon can collect those saves. witesoxfan
What the hell is everyone talking about? Marte is our closer. He is just used in the 7th and 8th innings. It's called closer by committee, and when it is used well, it is a thing of beauty. When the toughest stretch of hitters comes up late in the game, Damaso comes in. If those hitters come up in the 9th, Damaso will be creditited with a save. Thing is, it seems they usually come up in the 7th or 8th. IMO, Damaso is the closer. And we are using him properly. CubsSuck1
whichever, setup or closer, hes just lights out. Koch shouldn't even be mentioned in the same sentance as him.
