Hahn has tried to address the catching situation for two offseasons now. I think something like Sanchez, Danish/Montas/Adams, Beck/Fry + a live arm like Guerrero might get it done, while leaving the sox depth and some of their upper level talent.

i wouldn't mind it either, just about anything is an upgrade on Flowers's offense

- Samardzija signs an extension during the season

- Abreu has a BA over .390 at the All Star Break

- Garcia ends up batting over .270 and belts out 20 HRs

- Beckham is DFA'd in June

- Flowers and his magic glasses hit .260 with 22 HRs

- Danks is traded in July, and the Sox acquire Buehrle in a separate trade

- Ventura wears a cowboy hat to a game Joe West is umpiring and is ejected before the first pitch

- Hawk is suspended for three games after going on a tirade about a bad call

- Bill Melton steps in for Hawk and repeatedly calls Rodon "Mothra"

Samardzija only wins 10 games and his ERA is in the mid 4s.

Sale hurts his arm and has to have surgery.

They trade Melky and Alexei by the deadline in a rebuild attempt.

Beckham stays the entire season and gets more PT than Micah Johnson.

I'm being negative because that's the boldest of bold.

Tyler Flowers hits under .200 before being replaced by Soto

Semien/Bassitt/Phegley/Ravelo produce around the same amount of WAR as Samardzija

Abreu has an OBP of over .400

Rodon replaces Danks in the rotation and beats his ERA by over 2

White Sox go under .500

Checking back on these.

Tyler Flowers hits under .200 before being replaced by Soto

Currently at .196, has not been replaced yet but they've split the last 8 or so starts and Soto's starting to outhit him

Semien/Bassitt/Phegley/Ravelo produce around the same amount of WAR as Samardzija

About 1.5 to 1.2 thus far

Abreu has an OBP of over .400

Nope, .340

Rodon replaces Danks in the rotation and beats his ERA by over 2

He replaced Noesi rather than Danks but is currently beating Danks's ERA by 2.24 (albeit a bit luckily)

White Sox go under .500

Currently 3 games under

Not bad overall.
