Is some team dumb enough to give him 5 years at 9 mill a year? What idiotic team would sign RA for long term after what happened in NY? Hire Sandy as mgr and keep Robbie. I think he'll be back for one and an option, probably around the 4-5million mark. He sure has made a difference in our quality of play. Regardless, if management chooses to keep him, I'd love to see Robbie return next season. He has played hard and played a really nice defensive 2B. I think St. Louis would be content to let Bo Hart, 26 years old, play 2B next year. I would be willing to bet that St. Louis looks to spend their money this offseason on pitching, starting and relieving. Last I heard, Texas was happy with Michael Young, 26. Maybe that has changed, but he's a good young player. He makes $250,000 a year, and they could spend their money on pitching as well. His stats: .303, 13 hr, 67 rbi. I would think the Dodgers, Milwaukee, and Pittsburgh would be most likely teams to show interest. I'd be surprised to see Robbie anywhere but wearing the black and white in Chicago next year.
