chitownsportsfan
Good job nice to see Beckham hit that HR anything he gives the Sox is a bonus and Robin seems pretty damn intent on getting him 10 PA a week. 2-4 actually feels OK. Certainly not a good start, but after 0-4 it could have been a disaster. Avi's bat looks nice and he's doing it his way -- lots of top hand and BABIP. Eventually you'd love to see more power but for now I'll keep taking singles and doubles. His speed certainly plays more on the bases than in the field. Much like last year it seems like it will be a miracle to go through a game without 1 boneheaded mistake. But great job by our lower half of the order for continuing to deliver. pettie4sox
I think most people knew Sale was going give a QS today. Sad we were at game 6 when it happened.

greg775
Good win over a horrendous Minnesota team (those dropped pop ups?) but obviously a win is a win. Time to win some road games. Cleveland is good. Would be nice to continue winning series.
RockRaines
QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Apr 12, 2015 -> 09:04 PM) That's good news, he obviously has the talent. Hopefully he didn't pick up Miggy's drinking skill No way. Look at his recovery last year and his body this year. Guy is a model citizen. When he was rehabbing last year I called when he would be back. I knew because of his work ethic. He's a machine.

cabiness42
Looks like it took the team 37½ innings to figure out that the season started. Since then it's been pretty good.
LDF
QUOTE (RockRaines @ Apr 13, 2015 -> 12:56 AM) Garcia is going to be special. He's a workaholic that truly cares. has anyone really look at Jose A approach every time he is up to bat. the great hitter do this, he break down his swing. he studies every aspect of his swing. when he follows thru, he stops and see or tried to see his body position. great hitter does that. now, if Avi and others can follow his approach, whether they can replicate the success is another story, but the preparation, they will do better than before. beautox
QUOTE (elrockinMT @ Apr 13, 2015 -> 01:16 PM) Maggs was a real good hitter. That is an excellent comparison I would love to see him become maggs like player if his defense in RF can grow to be just below average instead of way below average like maggs and he can utilize his speed he could be a consistent 4WAR player that would be huge!
