Again, it's a myth and I provided the link to show that.

lol alright bro.

i am excusing myself from this (awful) argument. Rodon is not going to re-sign with the Sox, and we are (correctly) going to hold him down for a bit to gain an entire extra year of his services.

You're having a bad year managing.

I don't get what problem people have with Beckham. He's had good at bats and played solid defense. Bonifacio, on the other hand, has looked like he's done with baseball since the second Spring Training games started.

Speaking of Boras, I read the day after the Cubs drafted Bryant, they offered him $6.7 million. They waited until the deadline to sign, and Bryant wound up signing for $6.7 million.

It probably would have hurt the Cubs argument that he still needs developmental time had Boras got him out on the field a little sooner.

Seriously, research what Boras quality clients do instead of believing in the myth

They usually sign before the seventh year materializes.

So here are you arguing that Boras clients usually sign contracts before they hit FA.

When asked for an example you put the burden on the people asking.

yes If Rodon is what we all hope he is he'll sign like Sale did

Then you cite a specific example of a non-boras client which doesn't help your argument at all.

I didn't. I used it as an example of signing early.

This board is very frustrating.

You are the common denominator in these frustrating arguments across multiple boards, not just here.
