NorthSideSox72
Dykstra through his first two starts: 13 IP, 1 H, 0 R, 1 BB, 6 K, and 27 ground-outs versus 2 fly-outs. That's quite impressive. I was surprised he wasn't in BHAM to start the season.

That's quite impressive. I was surprised he wasn't in BHAM to start the season. He was overmatched in High A last year. I was never high on him and actually didn't have faith in him this year either, but it's good to see him prove me wrong.

Bruce_Blixton
The Kanny lineup is pretty difficult to follow, there's a distinct dearth of position prospects on the current roster outside of Eddy Alvarez, Brett Austin and Mason Robbins and even those guys are fringy at best. Hopefully Hahn & co. take this year's draft to focus on drafting more position players with upside.
fathom
QUOTE (Bruce_Blixton @ Apr 16, 2015 -> 12:50 AM) The Kanny lineup is pretty difficult to follow, there's a distinct dearth of position prospects on the current roster outside of Eddy Alvarez, Brett Austin and Mason Robbins and even those guys are fringy at best. Hopefully Hahn & co. take this year's draft to focus on drafting more position players with upside. There's just a shocking lack of offensive potential in the farm. The gap from Anderson to next best offensive prospect is huge. Thankfully the pitching depth is very good.
flavum
Mitchell ejected tonight. Amusing to see his and Keenyn Walker's names in boxscores still.

caulfield12
Seriously, Scott Merkin or even Rongey could do Buddy Bell's "rah rah" PR spiel once or twice a week. And it's not that hard to hype up Rodon, Anderson, Montas, Hawkins, Danish, etc.
