Drabek is 27, doesn't throw hard and has zero control. If another team wants him, I doubt it costs the White Sox a pennant.

If Cooper and the organization feel they can do something with a pitcher, I am going to give them the benefit of the doubt. But as of right now, it wouldn't be that big of a loss.

Good that its Guerra and not Putnam. Putnam pitched well last year and has rebounded in his last 2 outings. He deserves more time. Guerra doesn't deserve the same.

I think Guerra is legitimately injured. Maybe it was a hoax to get Rodon up after his start in Charlotte and after his service time wasn't an issue, as he would have been unavailable against Detroit anyway. It is funny how injuries got Bryant and Rodon up just after their deadline. But I think if he wasn't hurt they would have had him pitch an inning or so in one of the blowouts.

That's possible too but the way Ventura and Coop have handled the bullpen over the last few years. who knows? its all so random...

The bullpen should be pretty stacked now, probably better than it's been since the White Sox won it all. Now if the starters can step up, and the offense can get it going, this team should be cooking with gas.

Absolutely. Gota get Q on track. We'll be ok. Offense needs to get it going.

Better than 2005? That was a very successful bullpen in part because the starters were all so strong that they didn't have to tax themselves too much. But it would be VERY hard to top the record the 2005 club had in 1-run games.

Edit -- you are saying since 2005, not better than 2005. Possibly. Have to think about it longer.

I said since. You can't say anything was better than that bullpen until they win.
