ihatethecubs
ya i hate that, every time we face some loser weve never seen before, we can t hit him until like the 3rd time through the line up, like today. its weird we cant hit these fill in pitchers
bulokis
This is the biggest series. We need to win 3-4 games to take them out of their hot streak and kill their momentum. Be there on Tuesday with my wife. Cant make the other games bcoz I got skul and work.
SoxFanForever
Hopefully we will get to him early and not have yet another nobody shut us down. We need to get their starters out of there early.
winninguglyin83
If Carlos Pulido indeed starts on Tuesday, here are some stax and facts on him. he's a 32 year old lefty from Venezuela bounced around baseball since making his mlb debut in 1994 pitched in Mexican league last year pitched nearly all of this season at Rochester. 12-5 record 25 starts 149 innings 145 hits 3.56 ERA 40 walks 87 strikeouts he's been in the big leagues for a few weeks he's pitched in three games 8 innings no earned runs 5 hits 0 walks 5 Ks Rick Reed pitched 2 innings in relief today. They're still down on Joe mays. Word is Pulido -- or a rookie named Balfour, who also pitched today -- will start Tuesday. Sounds as if the Twins are wise to the fact that sox struggle against soft-tossers they have never seen before. At least that's what it sounds like. greg775
We need to split or win 3 of 4. No way we can sweep them without a full house cheering for our boys every night.

No way in hell do we "need a split" in this series. That's what the Twins are hoping for. We are at home with our four best starters lined up for them. We BETTER win this damn series, minimum. DBAHO
Yeah I can't see how Minny is gonna give up da Central if we don't win this series. With our big 4 up, we should be preparing for a sweep, not hoping for 1.
YASNY
ya its pretty awesome we got our top 4 pitchers goin, hopefully we an just sweep em! It is pretty awesome, isn't it? I wonder how many of the people that wanted to crucify Jerry Manuel for pitching Cotts in the Yankee series have even considered that JM actually SET THIS UP by making that decision. LOL thank you. A spilt and the season can be packed in. DOes anyone look at a schedule and analyze? Or are most of us just blind robots? GRRRR. I said 7-0 on the remainder of this homestand would win the division and i stick to that. 6-1 and we still have a shot, but 7-0 would make me relax a bit. Actually I think we could sweep them at their place, without our fans. It will be fun at the old ballpark. Are the ScRubs in town?

Throwing it on the line with out best 4. We shouldn't be that impressed by this. After all he is a big league manager
Al Lopez Ghost (old)
With all the days off we had between the end of August and now, starting Cotts in NY had NOTHING to do with our current rotation. He could have started Buhrle in NY and still had our big 4 ready for Minny. He also said after the game Sunday that Marte, used all 3 games this weekend, is unavailable. So let's go nine, Bartolo.
