16 of the next 23 on the road.

Now or never.

The season is pretty much over IMO. The Sox have the worst differential in the AL and nobody was predicting this team had any margin for error. Even the most optimistic were saying 86-88 wins. They'd have to play roughly .560 ball here on out to get to 87, does anyone see that happening?

Don't confuse this post for quitting or giving up on this season. Far from it -- but let's be real -- the sands are slipping through the hour glass.

Sox are 10-14 against the AL Central, thanks to 2 road sweeps at KC and MIN. Of the 29 games they've played, nearly half (14) of those have come against the 2 best and hottest teams in the AL -- KC and DET. Not a great formula for starting the season.

Yes, they've played s***ty as well but I wouldn't sell the season just yet. It's a team that seems to be finding its rhythm, especially if production from Eaton and Cabrera and Ramirez continues to show signs of life. Sale and Samardzija won't be this bad all season.

Dan Hayes retweeted Christopher Kamka

This would be the 1st time #WhiteSox have ever started 2-13 on road if they lose, according to @ckamka.

The last time the White Sox started a season 2-12 in their first 14 road games of the season was 1942.

Ineptitude. Blow it up. Start looking for the right manager for next season and begin planning a buttload of trades and target some youngsters who can play.
