and for the record, HSC, I agree almost 100% with your post.

I think the policy change was an over-reaction to the morons running on the field.

But I also think it's kinda stupid to stay away from a game just because this guy refuses to pay a little more to sit downstairs.

He has a choice and he knows the situation.

Make the choice, don't b**** and whine about it.

Someone needs to learn how to read, because I've said it several times over this has nothing to do with $$$!

The only time I am ever affected by this is when the LD sells out.

which is never... if you ask at the ticket window for ld seats youll get them.. even on the sox cubs series i was able to score a couple for friends...... ;) ask and you shall recieve.....

We don't live or work any where near the BOX office so that's not an option.

It's a good 90 min commute for us to the ballpark so it's a hard sell to people who have to travel so far to see a game to show up w/out tickets. Call us the NW burb fans if you will.

Critic, F off.

The only one wasting their time is you. If you don't like the topic, then don't respond.

It's a pretty simple principle to follow.

Thanks for the info. I might take you up on that seeing that tm has nothing available for the NYY series.

Boo Hoo Hoo....

Should UD people be allowed to walk the lower concourse after the 6th Inning?

After the 3rd inning?

From the 4th til the 7th inning?

In extra innings?

After the game?

After the game but before the fireworks?

Jeez....obsess much?

ok a little info here.. tm only has a certian amount of tickets they are allowed to sell..... very rarely they have ld seats in good sections..... for those you can ALWAYS get some when walking up just before game time and asking for them... .just a little hint... never use tm.... they suck....... ;)

WOW, you mean a "superior" season ticket holder who 'doesn't give a s*** about walkups" might actually HELP a walkup live out his dream of walking the concourse??

This sounds like the Make A Wish Foundation!!!

Well that makes two season ticket holders on here who are helping out complete strangers to get better tickets... Kind blows a hole in your theory, huh EJ?

WTF are you talking about? This is about SOX policy & the effect it has on alienating fans from the Cell.

When did this become a theory on season ticket holders?

There are good & bad people in all groups.

I appreciate HSC's efforts but the difference betw her source & tm is that tm is a trusted source. It's not going to be so easy convincing the others. But for NYY the idea of talking something is better than nothing might work.

No offense, but they'll ask me to call the BOX first.

Nobody here works for the White Sox.

You're pissing in the wind.

You asked our opinions, then got mad when they didn't match yours.

And if I recall, YOU were the one throwing attitude first because nobody was voting for a sweeping policy change to bend to your potential sporadic attendance.

I don't care WHERE you throw your hypothetical $3240.00.

Because I don't work for the White Sox.

When I go to games I walk up, and I don't give a s*** where I sit.

I have purchased upper deck tickets when the lower deck was sold out, or when the only lower seats left cost more than I wanted to pay.

I don't go to the ballpark to see a concourse, I go to see a baseball game.

Make a decision and stop crying.

No one cares....except maybe Bateman.

I never asked for your opinions. Just your vote.

So F off. When this franchise dies because of righteous MOMO's like you don't come crying to me.

LOL.. who's crying..??

Well, technically asking fans whether they will or will not attend games does have something to do with attendance

Alright.. which it? Two different threads? Or the same thing said in both threads? Can you make up your friggin mind?

And please stop with the idiocy of saying UD people steal your seat in the LD.

Ever since they added ushers for all sections on the stairwells, they don't let you in the section without the proper ticket.  We've sit behind the BPs several times this year on both weekdays & weekends & not once did the usher not check are tickets when returning to our seats.

Ummm.. southsider can you help me out here. Where did we sit Saturday.. 159, right? Did you get asked once to see your ticket before returning to your seat..? I sure didn't.

No one asked me for anything.

That's what I'm talking about. As long as you have a LD ticket, they don't care. So, once again... nut is proven to be a nut.

OMG.. I offered tickets to the game tonight. How much more of a guarantee do you want? :dips***

I usually try and read a complete thread before I comment, but after seven pages of this drivel, I had to stop.

Jugger, what happened here was that you posted a poll hoping for a certain result and it blew up in your face. You got pissed off and started throwing these: :fyou around. When that happened, the all the pompous season ticket holders pretty much gave it to you with both barrels. Then that comment about not going if it's not a .500 team pretty much sealed your fate because it does make you the definition of a fair weather fan. I know, you tried to tap dance out of that by claiming you were a "die-hard" and blaming your friends.

Having said all that, you did tone it down and come back to being more civil with your comments. That was cool. I didn't vote in your poll because I live out of state and any time I get to attend a game it's a treat for me. However, you might try sitting and composing a nice, well thought out and well-worded letter to the Sox management, which you present your point of view. I'd recommend not using any of these: :fyou

This is a typical answer. Me, me, me. It's a general question asking you to think beyond YOURSELF!

The poll was directed towards my personal opinion dumbass and you got it. If you need to walk around the concourse that bad instead of watching the game, then plan ahead and don't b**** to people who don't care if you feel mis-treated by others. You want us to feel sorry for you because you feel like a victim even though you aren't because you don't want to get LD seats. They are available, so don't give me the crap that you can't find them. You have been given a solution by HSC. If you don't want to use it, then just go away and shut up already. The park is empty all the time anyway, so nobody is going to any less games since it was put into effect.
