Dunt
Davidson with a .859 OPS now, but keep trotting Conor out there
LDF
QUOTE (Dunt @ May 1, 2015 -> 04:53 AM) Davidson with a .859 OPS now, but keep trotting Conor out there the sox can't afford to take a chance that this was a hot streak. lets not put him into a position that if he fails, you may ruin his confidence. lets give him several more weeks and address the question again. is he ready to go to the next level?? LDF
QUOTE (Dunt @ May 1, 2015 -> 04:53 AM) Davidson with a .859 OPS now, but keep trotting Conor out there btw, the sox FO knew what they had in Conors, during the offseason, if they didn't address it then, who is at fault??? oh yeah, they did address it, they went and signed Gordon Beckham. BlackSox13
Yeah, I'm taking Davidson with a huge grain of salt right now. Look at Davidsons game logs, his numbers are quite padded due to his 4/29 game. Before that his numbers were not very good. I still hold onto hope that Davidson can move Conor and Beckham out of Chicago permanently but Davidson still has more to prove yet. Rowand44
Ya, way WAY too early to jump on bring up Davidson bandwagon. He has to keep hitting and Conor has to keep being s***ty for at least another month.

Agreed, hopefully Davidson continues to slug the ball and puts himself in position to be promoted in a month or so if other options falter.
