greg775
Seriously, we should never have traded Semien. The Sox are going to have great chips to trade in Shark, LaRoche, Robertson, Duke, Melky to contenders who will be buying. It's imperative to get it right and get some difference makers who are young and fast and can field. Baseball is changing and Sox will have one final chance to get it right when they sell off this year's parts after the break.
chitownsportsfan
QUOTE (caulfield12 @ May 2, 2015 -> 04:19 PM) Not too many swings and misses on sliders....the strategy is clearly to look fastball firsl and make him throw sliders for strikes. It's pretty easy to hit off a fastball, even easier when it's 2-0 all the time. If he doesn't have command he shouldn't be in MLB. Frankly his AAA starts indicated that no, he didn't really have command. Great stuff against over matched AAA guys? Sure. But MLB ready command? Hell no. flavum
Hawk sounds like he wants to cut back on his schedule. BTW, there's no way Stone goes back to Baltimore for that doubleheader. He'll be using his weekend off then for sure.

caulfield12
They should at least play Beckham at third for defense unless Ventura's already giving up on this game. Typical White Sox...finally beat the Royals and then proceed to self-implode. Edited May 2, 2015 by caulfield12
