Lillian
I've been touting Sanchez, as a better option right now than Micah. Bring him back up. Put him in the 2 hole, and move Melky into the heart of the order, where he can be a run producer. Maybe he can help jump start our pathetic offense. caulfield12
QUOTE (Lillian @ May 2, 2015 -> 06:00 PM) I've been touting Sanchez, as a better option right now than Micah. Bring him back up. Put him in the 2 hole, and move Melky into the heart of the order, where he can be a run producer. Maybe he can help jump start our pathetic offense. When Gordon Beckham and Carlos Sanchez (career minor league ops of 713 including this year's hot start) are your offensive saviors of choice you just know you're in a lot of trouble. NorthSideSox72
For those without Twitter, here's my brief Beck tweet (more details and video in a future article)... Chris Beck:. FB 92-95, T96(!), but velo faded late innings. SL 84-86 good mvmt but left up at times. Mostly FB early, mostly CB/CH/SL late.

Ozzie Ball
May 1-2, 2 BB, 3 SB (now 10-13 in SBA) Nice to see some patience from May as he only had 4 BB's prior to this game.

BigHurt3515
QUOTE (fathom @ May 2, 2015 -> 08:39 PM) 2nd base...Johnson was rushed and is having a very hard time hitting fastballs It's not saying much with our s***ty team but Johnson has been one of the few bright spots, IMO. I love the way he plays the game. If Sanchez can play 3B at least as well as Gillaspie I would look at that

NorthSideSox72
QUOTE (BigHurt3515 @ May 2, 2015 -> 09:01 PM) It's not saying much with our s***ty team but Johnson has been one of the few bright spots, IMO. I love the way he plays the game. If Sanchez can play 3B at least as well as Gillaspie I would look at that I asked Joel Skinner about that after the game. Sanchez has been playing 2B most of the time, plus 2 games at short. Skinner answered carefully, but he indicated Sanchez would play SS and 3B at least occasionally. What he didn't say though, but that others did, is that they don't want to sit Davidson much. Matt didn't have a great game today, but his defense is much-improved and his hitting is showing some positive signs, so I think they want to ride that out. Makes it tough to get Sanchez 3B time.
