Let's start hitting earlier next time!

man, i do not want them to rush it. let them get used to this and then take the next step.

psst, ws players, old men like me can't take this dramatic endings.

OMG I went for a jog in the eighth before the Tstorms hit here and I come back and see the Sox won?! Holy s***. It turned into a thriller of a final two innings. Was the ninth scary? Was Robertson still nasty or did something happen to where he's human?

Maybe you should run all game next time.

Robertson let up 2 hits but Avi hit Alexei with the cutoff while a runner was going to 3rd and Alexei was able to throw out the guy rounding 1st base. Then a grounder to Micah to end the game

I'm just hoping this is the win that finally gets us going. If we can win 3 out of the next 4 I might start feeling better about the team

can't wait for tomorrow morning when the main regulars gets on this board. bedlam will ensue..... yesss.

It was McCann, the catcher.

And the .350ish hitting Iglesias would have come up with runners on 1st and 3rd, only one out...probably would have scored the first run of the season (off Robertson) unless they got him to hit into a double play ball to the middle of the diamond.

Big break finally went our way again.

Yep, I don't like Detroit so I choose not to use their names.

The ball he hit would've been a double play if McCann didn't get throw out.

3 games back in the 2nd wildcard.

I mentioned in the MLB section, you have a bunch of teams with huge win totals the first 27 games, and the rest are mediocre or worse. That could mean a low wildcard number at the end of the season. Wouldn't surprise at all if 85 or 86 wins gets a team an extra game.

who knows what would have happened as the pitch and hitting strategy would have been completely different

He'd be using a much different approach at the plate with a guy at 3rd and 1 out. So you can't say that.
