Bad throw, but Abreu looked like a ten year old trying to scoop that

That hop looked like one of the easiest balls to catch but Abreu just looked lost. Flowers just let another easy ball go right between his legs

Think about it this inning:

- Abreu knocks ball away due to not knowing where infielders are

- Conor makes bad throw on DP chance

- bad throw by Johnson after Alexei takes his time

- Abreu isn't even looking at the ball on scoop attempt

- flowers can't block another pitch in dirt

Hey they aren't as bad as Cleveland!

Flowers looked like a damn chicken with his head cut off

I'm not sure if it was on tv, I'm at the game, but the Phillips dribbler where we got the double play at home was great. Flowers looked so lost, but it actually worked!

will we aever see an infield defense of gordon, ramirez, sanchez, la roche? That is actually a damn good infield compared to the joke we have now.

That would actually be a smart thing to do with the offense struggling like it is. But instead we have KW and company telling us that we'll make a miraculous run to come back with this exact lineup...

Truth is, if we don't hit it really doesn't matter how many runs we let up..

Keeping pressure on their starter, defense, and bullpen to not give up anything would have been nice though.

Truth is, this team sucks. Just too many bad hitters/defenders. Unfortunately can't face Joba every game

That's true. I think there would be a lot more complaints about the D if we were losing games 5-4, etc. but we get shutout 1-0 by the freakin Twins so it doesn't really matter that we give away an extra out or two right now.
