CaliSoxFanViaSWside
QUOTE (Alexeihyeess @ May 10, 2015 -> 02:27 PM) We need a stir emoticon. It's the new Sox theme based on Eaton's commenting a few times that he is supposed to be the straw that stirs the drink ( based on the Reggie Jackson comment that he is the straw that stirs the drink when he was with the Yankees). They got t-shirts made to poke fun at Eaton but now it's officially the new fun thing. So now you have seen multiple guys doing it. Bonifacio a few times and Beckham after the hit to win the game.

Dick Allen
2 out of 3 without any of your top 3 pitching is nice. It is the first time I have seen 102 on the USCF gun since that guy with Detroit was healthy. Nice job by Johnny Danks. bmags
I was thinking about it, with Noesi maybe injured, I feel better about this rotation: Sale Smja Q Rodon/Carrol Danks/Carrol. Danks will just have game where everyone can see, the ball just isn't staying down. It's a 7 spot waiting to happen. Give it 2 innings and if he can't keep it down bring in Carrol. I say Rodon / Carrol just because who knows how economical Rodon can be. Danks has shown he is capable of some randomly brilliant games, but its quite obvious when he doesn't have it. Carrol is by no means a great pitcher, but he has shown ability to just try and get as many groundballs as possible and I'll take it. If they don't do anything like this they are dead, have no pulse, supposedly just like their manager. If they get excited and have some sort of inside joke, it is bad because little leaguers might copy them. GMAB. It's a game. They won it in the 9th and are having fun. That is what games are supposed to be-fun.

Swingandalongonetoleft
Wasn't able to catch the game yesterday, but very happy to see another solid effort from Danks. Nothing wrong with him as a #5 in the rotation.
