daggins
QUOTE (Dunt @ May 11, 2015 -> 06:55 PM) This team just sucks. How's next years draft class looking? Really good, apparently.
fathom
QUOTE (RockRaines @ May 12, 2015 -> 12:55 AM) Alexei plays the number one position where we have talent behind him. Just saying. Father Time has taken a few steps away from him this year.
Dunt
QUOTE (RockRaines @ May 11, 2015 -> 06:55 PM) This team was so good this weekend though right? I don't remember saying that
BigHurt3515
They scored 2 runs with their 7-8-9 hitters to start the inning. Can we do the same?
fathom
QUOTE (RockRaines @ May 12, 2015 -> 12:55 AM) This team was so good this weekend though right? To be honest, I thought they faced two of the worst pitchers they'll see all year in Marquis and Lorenzen. They were able to square up Marquis, but Lorenzen should have probably given up 6-8 runs with the stuff he had yesterday.
Bigsoxhurt35
QUOTE (RockRaines @ May 11, 2015 -> 06:53 PM) Well, yeah. You hate the entire organization so why support them? And then you waste your time and energy posting about how much you hate them on a message board. I don't hate the entire organization. I may b**** about them but that's a lot of fans that b**** about their teams. I don't waste my time.they can do what they do. They at least try that's all I ask for. caulfield12
Phillies and the Rockies only teams with worse RS/RA differentials after this inning. Philadelphia -60 Rockies -47 White Sox -41 Brewers -40 Red Sox are closest in the AL, at -26. Cleveland at -19, so they're bound to improve due to their starting pitching. Feeky Magee
QUOTE (daggins @ May 11, 2015 -> 06:55 PM) Well, this is the worst possible scenario for the Samardzija trade. Semien is great and Shark is a disaster. No comp pick at the end of the season. We'll get the comp pick. He'll improve enough that he'll be worth 1 year, $14m. Still a really bad trade. EDIT: This assumes we don't trade him. Edited May 11, 2015 by Feeky Magee
daggins
QUOTE (RockRaines @ May 11, 2015 -> 06:55 PM) This team was so good this weekend though right? Not really. Lost by 6 then won by 6 (against Jason Marquis) and then barely won again. They wont win many games if Samardzija and Sale have terrible seasons. ChiSoxFanMike
The Sox should just cut their losses and trade Ramirez/Samardzija for whatever they can get. Chances are that they won't be getting any better than they are right now.

caulfield12
QUOTE (Blackout Friday @ May 11, 2015 -> 05:57 PM) There is a comp pick. White Sox will be averaging 8,099 per game by the time that player pays off at the major league level. They will trade him this season. Hahn's job is riding on fixing the problems for 2016. fathom
QUOTE (caulfield12 @ May 12, 2015 -> 12:59 AM) White Sox will be averaging 8,099 per game by the time that player pays off at the major league level. They will trade him this season. Hahn's job is riding on fixing the problems for 2016. That would be a very stupid approach. If it fails this year, they can't try doing the same band-aid approach again. The organization needs to actually develop some players and give them a chance.
