BigHurt3515
QUOTE (SoxAce @ May 11, 2015 -> 09:19 PM) Nice call once again Robin. I know he has been one of the better relievers this year but he did work 2 days in a row and there weren't any lefties up (a switch hitter), I would have went with a RHP but all we had was Petricka, Carroll, and Noesi. RockRaines
I love how even at this point nobody even brings up Coopers name as someone to fire.
fathom
Sox pitchers are next to last (Colorado) in terms of batting average against. That's just ridiculous.

Another year of underachieving pitching. It's definitely time for a change. They've put so many resources into the pitching staff, and they are performing just horribly. Swingandalongonetoleft
Too bad he took Putnam out, maybe if he stuck around he could have hit into a triple play in the top of the 9th.
Chicago White Sox
Can't quit now, just need three here in the 9th, Noesi to hold them in the bottom half of the inning with him coming to bat in the 10th and hitting a walk-off homer.
Balta1701
QUOTE (fathom @ May 11, 2015 -> 10:20 PM) Can they fire Don Cooper please? This team just can't pitch on the road QUOTE (RockRaines @ May 11, 2015 -> 10:23 PM) I love how even at this point nobody even brings up Coopers name as someone to fire. Dude, 8 posts before that. GreenSox
3 days in a row, the 3rd against a team that knows him best, doesn't help.

Feeky Magee
Cooper's (probable) ability to keep pitchers healthy is a big advantage to the Sox and probably outweighs his coaching in terms of importance. I'm kind of sceptical of the impact of pitching/hitting coaches in general.

BigHurt3515
At least we didn't give up and we came back. Have to win the next two with our best pitchers out there. Bring the bats again and Sale better show up, should be better since it's a team not familiar with him

This org has been a cancer since 2013 and every trace of anything around at that time needs eradicated. I would hope that after this season, the following are long gone from this organization: - Ventura - Bell - Cooper Cooper probably isn't bad at his job like the other two are, but I think it's time for a new voice with the pitching.
