This team was so good this weekend though right?

To be honest, I thought they faced two of the worst pitchers they'll see all year in Marquis and Lorenzen. They were able to square up Marquis, but Lorenzen should have probably given up 6-8 runs with the stuff he had yesterday.

Well, yeah. You hate the entire organization so why support them? And then you waste your time and energy posting about how much you hate them on a message board.

I don't hate the entire organization. I may b**** about them but that's a lot of fans that b**** about their teams. I don't waste my time.they can do what they do. They at least try that's all I ask for.

Phillies and the Rockies only teams with worse RS/RA differentials after this inning.

Philadelphia -60

Rockies -47

White Sox -41

Brewers -40

Red Sox are closest in the AL, at -26. Cleveland at -19, so they're bound to improve due to their starting pitching.

Well, this is the worst possible scenario for the Samardzija trade. Semien is great and Shark is a disaster. No comp pick at the end of the season.

We'll get the comp pick. He'll improve enough that he'll be worth 1 year, $14m. Still a really bad trade.

EDIT: This assumes we don't trade him.

Not really. Lost by 6 then won by 6 (against Jason Marquis) and then barely won again. They wont win many games if Samardzija and Sale have terrible seasons.

I think they'll trade him if this continues

There is a comp pick.

White Sox will be averaging 8,099 per game by the time that player pays off at the major league level.

They will trade him this season. Hahn's job is riding on fixing the problems for 2016.

i wonder what their record would be if they took 2 of 3 from every team?

That would be a very stupid approach. If it fails this year, they can't try doing the same band-aid approach again. The organization needs to actually develop some players and give them a chance.

Tim Anderson hit for the cycle the other day.

He's ready. I'd rather see what he can do this year in preparation for the future than watch a guy that will never be here when we contend.

Cubs got one hell of a deal for him. I assume we get nothing close to that
