If he goes to UCLA he can't be drafted for the next three years.

He runs the risk of becoming Matt Harrington. That's what he is leaving behind.

Forgot all about Matt Harrington. What an idiot.

I'm all for taking a chance on Aiken based on the same parameters that many of you have mentioned: checks out okay with our medical staff and Coop. So many picks never pan out anyway that I'm willing to take a chance on him if we think he'll hold up physically.

Yeah, I wouldn't do it for full slot because of the risks, but if he checked out, and he would be willing to give a good discount to prevent falling into the 20's like the new mocks are showing, I would do it.

the thing is, the teams really can't look too deeply into the medical rpt unless the players gives it to them....

Then you pass on him and let him fall costing him slot money with every team that passes on him. That is the risk for Aiken.

Jim Callis retweeted Hugh McKillop

You never know but that would surprise me. Won't be able to pitch much before 2016 @MLBDraft. Someone pays him now.

No injured P in top 10. Hearing a lot of Daz Cameron chatter at 9. @OneManArmy_10: Do Cubs take @Aiken at 9? If not, who? @MLBDraft

Jonathan Mayo retweeted Dan Seyller

Aiken is wildcard. Teams will need to be OK w/medical. New mock (coming soon) has him middle of 1st #mlbdraft
