BlackSox13
It feels so good seeing threads like this again. Good to see the offense come back and fight for this one. Hopefully this can be a starting point for turning things around.

Quin
Son of a b**** I thought this was a 6:00 game. I've been sitting bored at work for two hours. Ugh.
pettie4sox
SS2K5 I hope you make gamethreads until the end of the year. Oh yeah... f***ing fire RV please. Edited May 27, 2015 by pettie4sox
greg775
Good win. I saw this one as one of the 60 you will win all year no matter what. Sox can't get swept by everybody. Abreu is a great hitter. Good to see LaRoche line an RBI single late.
southsider2k5
QUOTE (raBBit @ May 27, 2015 -> 03:41 PM) Since I went on a crusade against the Samardzija-hating meatballs and said he would be fine. 3 GS, 23IP, 19/5 SO/BB, 19H, 1.96 ERA, 1.04 WHIP. Getting out of the first while stranding the lead off double was huge. It set the tone for the pitching.

I've said it all season, but Hahn needs to sign this dude to an extension. Build your team around a rotation of Sale, Shark, Quintana, & Rodon and you should be able to be legitimate contenders each year with even an average offense. This year might be a lost cause, but I honestly think we can fill the black holes at 3B & C this coming offseason if we're willing to move some of our prospects. Obviously this all assumes guys like Melky, Eaton, etc. return close to their previous form. elrockinMT
Even though we lost Tuesday 10-9 we won todaywith both games showing some offense that wouldn't quit

It's just stupid to pay a pitcher huge bucks for more than 2-3 seasons. They WILL be hurt.
