Have they ever mentioned what is causing the swelling in Avi's knee? If it isn't really anything, it seems to be hanging around a while.

Likely a meniscule tear. I've had inflammation and swelling in my knee after a meniscule tear and needed to get arthroscopies.

They keep using the word "tendonitis"

Ventura says Avi wont start either game and Robertson probably wont be used.

Why would he say this before the game?

What benefit is there to this?

Isn't this what he guy from the Reds went bat s*** crazy over earlier this season?

Odds are they would have done an MRI if they even remotely thought it was a meniscus tear. There are many other etiologies for edema in the knee.

This really wouldn't cause much edema but is definitely something they would rest so it doesn't become a chronic problem.

Which brings up the old Rick Sutcliffe line, "They tell you that you have tendonitis when they don't know what's wrong with you."

So true.

Orioles are .352/.436/.614 against Sale. Somehow, that only translates to a 5.06 ERA.

Yikes.

In Robins defense, everyone knows that it will be a CG shutout for Sale and he'll be buoyed by the machine that is the White Sox offense.

89 ABs since Melky last had an XBH

Probably time to stop batting him 2nd. Are the Sox the lowest scoring team in the first inning all season? Seem to go down 1-2-3 very frequently.

Why would you rock the boat like that with all the momentum they have? Oh wait...
