Probably time to stop batting him 2nd. Are the Sox the lowest scoring team in the first inning all season? Seem to go down 1-2-3 very frequently.

yes, we are the lowest scoring team in the 1st inning in MLB. We have scored 13 first inning runs. Red Sox and mets have scored 14.

Yankees have scored 50. Tigers have scored 41.

Wow, look at how much more effective Chris is when he mixes in sliders. It only took....2 months to figure this out?

He has been struggling with his slider which is why he hasn't been throwing it frequently. Apparently the slider usually takes him a couple months to get his feel on it every season.

That was a very pretty bottom of the 1st inning though. 2 three pitch K's!

Let's not let Adam off the hook for that running performance.

That was pathetic, all-around. It's a freaking rookie making his major league debut. Take some pitches, make him demonstrate command before just bailing him out with awful hitting.

I think it is obvious that the organization knows that. They also know that he is more likely to hurt his arm throwing more sliders, which is what they at trying to avoid by working the change in more often.

Sanchez is so non-threatening at the plate. A 3-1 90 mph fastball in the middle of the plate and he lofts it harmlessly to the left fielder.

Yep, he should be pulling that ball in the hole between 1st and 2nd

They already reduced it from 36% to 26% to 18%. 11% is too few.
