That's really not that high of a number. Just using Sale's career averages so far puts him around that mark in 2019.

A couple infield hits the last 2 days really helps that average. :D

 

I still like him has a utility guy off the bench though. I don't think he should be getting the majority of starts (just against lefties and a late inning sub)

Oh, trust me. I'm not advocating he become an everyday player again necessarily, but he has definitely been money well spent so far. If Gillaspie and/or Sanchez keep struggling, he may have earned some more playing time.

He's hit the ball pretty hard this year. He is showing a lot more value than most thought.
