Flowers homer time hopefully

I know you are joking, but look at his splits coming into the game tonight (currently 0-2):

Tie Game: 172/273/207 480 OPS

1 Run Game: 200/246/292 539 OPS

2 Run Game: 188/235/263 498 OPS

3 Run Game: 196/237/283 520 OPS

4 Run Game: 196/235/278 514 OPS

Margin > 4 : 263/300/632 932 OPS

4 of the 5 hitters after Avi are easy outs vs LHP. Either start playing Boni or release him and pick up Ruggiano.

Our hitters have a combined -1.2 WAR on the season. Four teams have had a negative offensive WAR since 2000. Tigers twice in 2002-2003 and lost 100+ in both seasons. Diamondbacks in 2004, lost 100+/. Marlins in 2012 and lost 93.

Wow was Steve Stones theory on hitting absolute S***

If major league players are that afraid of hitting with 2 strikes they need to GTFO....

Lots of hitting coaches and pitchers believe that as well.

"This is a game the Tigers should win. The best I've ever seen our guy pitch."

How the hell did that ball drop???

Kinsler knew he was out.

Playing deep but didn't seem to bust it at full speed to get there.

Sigh.

And we're 10-7 in one run games because of those late-game comebacks and Duke/Robertson.

Kinsler....no excuse there. War of mental mistakes in this one.

Minnesota was down 5-0 against the Brewers, now tied...and that Chi Chi Gonzalez kid on the Rangers is impressive. Seems he hasn't given up a run yet.

Have to give the Twins credit. If it wasn't a team in the division you're supposed to hate, it's actually a good baseball story.
