CaliSoxFanViaSWside
The Carson and Carlos Show the last 2 years. Obviously the Sox like guys whose 1st name starts with CAR.
BlackSox13
Was not the guy I had picked but I'm not complaining. Happy to call Fulmer a member of the White Sox organization. I am laughing at the idea of Sale, Rodon and Fulmer in the same rotation a year or two from now and the amount of K's those three will generate. Have mercy! caulfield12
QUOTE (Thad Bosley @ Jun 8, 2015 -> 06:05 PM) So chances are we will see Fulmer in Sept? That's the plan? He's the perfect solution for the 8th inning set-up guy, haha. Following the Sale/Rodon plan. Wouldn't be totally surprising...would have to review Fulmer's collegiate workload this year, he just ramped up this season from previously being a closer/reliever. ChiliIrishHammock24
QUOTE (Feeky Magee @ Jun 8, 2015 -> 06:03 PM) Wooo, posted all last two years about wanting Rodon and Fulmer, got them both Yep, same here. It's weird to follow a guy for nearly a full year hoping he would be the pick....and then he is the pick. I've been following Vandy baseball on twitter all season getting updates on all of Fulmer's starts. lol.
flavum
Hope for the best. Can't blame them for taking a pitcher.
LDF
i will say this, i was not for Fulmer, but now that he is a sox, i want him to fully develop. i really think he needs arm strength. it is going to be interesting. i also hopes he stays and develop as a sp. Soxfest
Fulmer says he wants to be a starter, would do whatever to help team though. Edited June 9, 2015 by Soxfest
GreenSox
There's no reason to rush him up into a bullpen. That's such a waste of an asset. Using #8 pick in the draft to create a bullpen pitcher isn't a serious effort. Edited June 9, 2015 by GreenSox

maggsmaggs
He's already pitched A LOT this year. I hope the Sox just give him a couple of token five-inning starts in Winston-Salem sometime this year. Whisox05
Love Carson Fulmer. Not because he's Sonny Gray 2.0. He isn't. Delivery isn't nearly as bad as others think, though, and stuff is monstrous. https://twitter.com/JeffPassan/status/608060863644332032

No, but the term rushed is overblown IMO.

Buehrle>Wood
Fulmer was my #1 pitcher over Tate, and way way over Jay. Couldn't be happier. I have no problem with how they choose to handle Fulmer going further. They have handled "rushing" pitchers just fine. It's like the one thing I have faith in this front office to handle. ptatc
QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Jun 8, 2015 -> 07:01 PM) Cubs going all the hitters, haha. Opposite of the White Sox, all the pitchers/all the lefties. That is always their prefernce. Hitters aremuch easierto projectin the analytics. So they draft the safer players and spend the big contracts on pitching.
