Need hitters not pitchers right now.

I meant for THIS season.

That's not how the draft works. Your typical hitter, even a very good prospect, takes at LEAST a couple years to reach the majors. This is not football or basketball.

There are literally no hitters in this draft that will help the team this year.

It was a joke from first statement about Sox drafting pitchers to help them this season...........I said hitters as a joke  Team hitting blows, I know nobody is coming this year. Hell we got nobody in minors to even call up.

Where is brady aiken supposed to fall now after his i believe tommy john surgery. While i dont see the white sox picking him, I do wonder what will happen with him. I thought we would draft him last year and was shocked when carlos made it to us. We sure did get pretty lucky there.

law doesn't have him in the first round. I would think 25-35

Do you trust this organization to develop a hitter? I don't. Until they drastically change the player development department, I go pitching all day.

Especially not a high school catcher, which is considered the hardest thing to do in the development field.

Where's DirtySox at? C'mon my friend, there's only a handful of people here I love and rely on in terms of what they think around the draft. (and prospects in general) :)

Hah.

Work is consuming my life and a lot of my Draft fun. That and the lack of White Sox picks.

I'm hoping for Tate personally. Okay with Fulmer/Jay as well. Harris is worst case scenario for me.
