LDF
QUOTE (Joshua Strong @ Jun 9, 2015 -> 01:38 PM) Trey Cabbage is a huge want if these players get to round 4, for pitcher - Donny Everett, for positional - David Thompson
Buehrle>Wood
QUOTE (SoxPride18 @ Jun 9, 2015 -> 08:35 AM) Mac Marshall is a top my wish list today in round 4. David Kerian from Illinois is on my wish list between rounds 6-10 Kerian's bat can absolutely play. If they could transition him to 3B or the outfield he'd be an amazing get. LDF
QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Jun 9, 2015 -> 02:56 PM) Kerian's bat can absolutely play. If they could transition him to 3B or the outfield he'd be an amazing get. look at Mitchell Nau - catcher - Tx A+M George Iskenderian - if - Miami with kerian, he comes from a great program. and is a ss, i don't see the power for a 3b and i mean sustainable power. a sleeper i really like besides Thompson is Zander Wiel Vandy. Kerian is actually a 1b, but yeah he has nice speed and was once drafted as a SS (not terribly uncommon for a hser) so I don't think a position change is out of the question, even if he's a college senior and it's a little late. His bat should be able to play anywhere else but 1B. Sox definitely need a college catcher early. Nau would be a solid choice.
Dunt
Thoughts on drafting Riley Farrell if he is there in the 4th? Too early to be considering relievers?
Buehrle>Wood
QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Jun 9, 2015 -> 09:25 AM) What's the most they could possibly give Matuella in the 4th round? Well slot is 500k. After missing out on rounds 2 or 3 I can't imagine drafting a guy they didn't think they could sign in round 4.
southsider2k5
QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Jun 9, 2015 -> 09:25 AM) What's the most they could possibly give Matuella in the 4th round? Depends on what we can save other places. Here are our slots Rd 1 $3,470,600 Rd 4 $508,000 Rd 5 $380,400 Rd 6 $284,800 Rd 7 $213,400 Rd 8 $174,800 Rd 9 $163,200 Rd 10 $152,300 Total $5,347,

If they sign 4 college seniors for $10,000 each that leaves them $1,566, 900 for their other 3 picks. What can they push it to in order to not lose a pick? Unless the rule has changed in the last year you can go up to 5% above your bonus pool without losing a pick.

The best way would be to save money with Fulmer, thought that is probably not very realistic.

At this point there isn't much money available to them. he prob would not sign, his agent is the factor. i think since he missed this season due to an injury, he might be eligible for another yr of college. he prob will go back to build up his value. BlackSox13
With the Sox picking Fulmer and the collection of arms the Sox have, I really hope they get after some hitters. At some point, this organization will have to develop some hitting.

At some point, this organization will have to develop some hitting. If you have pitching, you can trade for hitting. Ask Avi Garcia and Adam Eaton.
