Chisoxfn
QUOTE (Y2JImmy0 @ Jun 9, 2015 -> 11:09 AM) Jace Fry is much better. Erwin is a projectable lefty. It's fine. Probably under slot. Pitchable lefty, not projectable. Guy is a college pitcher, you can throw projectable out the window in terms of velocity. Sure it happens, but I doubt he'll go from pitching in the upper 80's and low 90's to going into the mid 90's. The key is going to be can command that fastball enough and are his secondary pitches good enough to make up for the lack of a plus fastball. flavum
If he can get outs, I don't care how hard he throws it.
Buehrle>Wood
Dejong top catcher availble (if he stays there). I wanted him in round 4. McCarthy top college player available, also wanted him with the last pick. Hoping for one of these. That's if we stay the college route. Don't know much about the hsers. Quin
FYI when I said smells of Fry, I meant that underslot lefty with not as dominating stuff (on the surface). That's what I remember hearing a lot about Fry last year at this time.

Dick Allen
QUOTE (Mike F. @ Jun 9, 2015 -> 01:31 PM) That's kind of a sad for a 4th round pick. I think your expectations of 4th round picks are a bit high. The White Sox have 2 4th round picks out of 50 that have put up at least a 1.0 WAR for them for their career. Quin
QUOTE (raBBit @ Jun 9, 2015 -> 01:35 PM) Fry was overslot and dominated a good conference. Erwin is probably underslot. They're just college lefties getting picked in semi-close. No similarities other than that in my mind. Well I look dumb.
Feeky Magee
11.31 K/9 to a 2.56 BB/9 this year at Rice. Nice.
Y2Jimmy0
Stephens was Rice's best pitcher last year and came back from TJS. Here he is in HS:
southsider2k5
White Sox are now 5 rounds into mlbdraft without selecting a position player. Does this increase the odds of hitting the Cuban market?
