aboz56
Rumor has it that Jack Morris will come out of retirement to pitch tomorrow for the Twins.

SuperSteve
koch might come in, but i think it would be a mistake if he comes in and gives up his usual walk and two line drives, it gives the Twins some momentum to carry in to tomorrow. then you still have to use the pen. plus, I still haven't shaken that image of Carl Crawford out of my mind flashes back every time the man takes the mound I still see that damn Crawford HR too. winninguglyin83
one other thing: The Twins pounded Koch in the final game of the AL division series last year. Minny had a small lead. Koch made it a big lead -- and cost Oakland the game after the As rallied in the ninth NO KOCH

southsider2k5
Houston leads the Brewers 7-6 in the bottom of the 9th, so that would keep them in a first place tie with the Cubs...
Queen Prawn
Atlanta is having their behinds handed to them on a silver platter (18-4 Phillies) and the Cardinals are about to lose. At least Houston is winning in the bottom of the 9th. I want Houston to win so the Scrubs still have to share 1st.

YASNY
That Crawford homer put us in a tailspin that almost did us in for the season.
southsider2k5
KC 2-8 in their last 10 games. Can you spell F-L-U-K-E?
aboz56
That Crawford homer put us in a tailspin that almost did us in for the season. Which is why I am surprised that anyone wants him to appear again in a Sox uniform this season. PACK IT IN BILLY

winninguglyin83
yes, it certainly did this team started gaining altitude when they finally quit waiting for Koch to get the job done as the closer the bats coming alive certainly helped but going to Damaso and Gordon as the closer was the key move this season. SuperSteve
KC 2-8 in their last 10 games. Can you spell F-L-U-K-E? Fluke? I don't think they were a fluke cause they didn't do anything. Wow, they were competative for a few months. I think the Angels are the team most deserving of being called a fluke. The Royals just hung on well the Twins and Sox struggled. YASNY
I still think Koch will be an important member of the White Sox. But, that's next year.
southsider2k5
Alomar takes a walk! Now it's time for The Big Hurt... Will he BE GOOD? Maybe the big Four-Oh? Nope Jesse would rather take his chances with Maggs.

winninguglyin83
If Maggs homers here, then Koch can pitch the ninth nothing less
