Micah sucked defensively in an incredibly small sample. He was made the scapegoat for our teamwide defensive issues. He deserved a longer opportunity with us. Unfortunately, we've now given 100 PAs to a guy with a motherf***ing 3 wRC+ b/c we over-reacted to a handful of bad plays from Micah. It was stupid then, looks even more ridiculous now.

I don't disagree as far as giving Micah an opportunity. It's just way down the list of things wrong with this team / org.

The funny thing is I'm pretty sure that Cabrera was oblivious to Eaton stealing...he was mostly just upset with striking out and forgot the situation in his "self-involvedness."

Locke has given up a 1.44 WHIP this year, 104 baserunners in 74 innings.

The least thing Vince Coleman and Ventura can do is tell the batters to get the hell out of the way when they strike out...so they don't get their baserunners thrown out for interfering with the catcher's throw.

Cue soundtrack, "but Cabrera is a veteran professional baseball player and has to be responsible/accountable for his own actions."

I'm sure Melky is oblivious to a lot of things.

So they get a hit after Robin is ejected. coincidence?

Abreu just decided to finally hit the ball into the massive hole on the right side bc they were shifting. Why can't the rest of our guys do that

Ventura should have ejected himself for having melky bat 2nd right handed.

I'll give Ventura this - he was right to be mad and get ejected.

Loved Robin when he played with ozzie and Hurt

But for the love of god please can him/KW and co go away.

This isn't working.

The perfect example was I think Marte got down one strike in the count...was struggling with the offspeed stuff from Danks and promptly decided on his own to lay down a bunt despite the fact he has been one of the hottest Pirates hitters the last 2-3 weeks.

That "unselfish baseball play" set the tone for that entire first inning and got Pittsburgh energized.

I can't remember the last time the White Sox pulled off something like that...

Take Hahn and the hitting coach also.

What's the record for games being shut out in a row? I'm almost rooting for something historically bad to happen to force some change.

Probably happened in the 1900's or 1910's or early 20's.

Call/e-mail Elias Sports Bureau with that question.

Ramirez looking for offspeed stuff away and aced twice tonight on the inside.

Locke two K's away from his season/career high. How many times have we heard that this season so far?

White Sox team average now at .237 or .238.

I've never seen such a lost group of hitters.

They look like minor leaguers.
