We both had the same idea yesterday. I agree with this.

For plans such as those to matetialize, we need another embarrassing loss. I know how people react to such comments, but tonight for example, what is benefited from a win? Changes need to be forced with any team, especially ours; and any start from here on out Danks craps the bed is preferable. Nothing is going to change otherwise

Now you just jinxed Danks to get the infamous "quality start."

Rick Hahn: "We're all in this together. ... We're accountable together." #WhiteSox

Hahn: "There does come a point you can only look at the back of a baseball card for so long."

Hahn: "It's getting to the point where it's not early anymore." #WhiteSox

Daryl Van Schouwen ‏@CST_soxvan 7m7 minutes ago

Hahn's view on Ventura hasn't changed. Remains supportive. "We're all in this together."

RIck Hahn: "frustration level high but organization believes in this team."

Scot Gregor ‏@scotgregor 8m8 minutes ago

#WhiteSox GM Rick Hahn says he might have roster moves in mind but not giving timetable

Sounds like a bunch of nuttin' from our meatball management.

Yes this is definitely because the guys don't care.

They havent shown it. They've made zero changes and/or seem at all concerned about the state of the club. They arent going to win anyone's approval by blowing smoke.

If I were to guess, teams have been calling on Shark, Alexei, Duke, Putnam, Petricka, and Robertson.

Yes on all except Putnam and Petricka. Who the hell would want them?? They are bodies, nothing else.

It's time to shake things up NOW

Otherwise this season is over.. it already is probably too late.

What a joke of an organization that past 3-5 years.

It started before ventura got here but the feces is really over flowing now.

Hiring Ventura was certainly a symptom of the disease, that's clear in retrospect. Goes deeper than him. I'd like to think KW is the problem, but then again Hahn is his buddy and protege and as long as JR is around...

Just a disheartening f***ing situation.

The one thing KW is good at is bellicose bluster, which is at least symbolically helpful.

When Hahn speaks, it's more like he's explaining the advantages of a merger between Netflix and Alibaba for proving streaming content in the Chinese mobiles devices market.

Someone called him Rick Yawn. As much as KW and Ozzie were a combustible mixture, they were entertaining at least, and sports are about providing an escape for the fans. Right now, if you're the average 9 to 5 Joe the Plumber type, your life is being made even more vexing by the White Sox. Like Flash Tizzle said, at some point....you're wondering what it will take, a no hitter...how many innings in a row they can go without scoring, how bad can Danks/Cabrera/Sanchez/Flowers/Noesi be without any changes taking place.

After a game like tonight, it's that whole idiotic "well, they fought back at the end...they gave it the 'ol college try...they didn't give up or get shut out...Danksie battled his butt off out there."

Well, all those things might be true, but they're not going to build momentum for tomorrow, and every start that Danks takes up from this point is one that could be going to an Erik Johnson or Beck that will actually have an effect on the future of this organization and its ability to compete for a playoff spot.

Have you looked at Putnam's strikeout to IP ratio recently?

Not every team is like the Royals, where they have Hochevar, Frasor, Madson, Medlen, Herrera, Wade Davis and Holland for RH pitching depth.

If anything, even KC could use Duke, because they're not 100% convinced Morales is the answer from the LH side.

Honestly who is to blame at this point? Everyone says baseball managers effect the result of a game the least in the major sports. Everyone was happy here with the moves Hahn had made the past few off seasons. So what the Hell is the problem? Is it the fact that we're getting bad luck because a few guys are having bad years to an already weak offense? Is it the poor defense? Base running? Where do you start fixing at this point?

Upper management and coaching...

The record over the past years has been bad or worse... players have changed but still same bad results.

Can only pretend for so long.

Not including Noesi getting DFA'd or Sanchez going back to Charlotte, I think someone is going soon. IMO, Steverson and Boston are most likely. It's a cosmetic move, but unless they are turning over a good percentage of the roster or firing Hahn and KW, any move in reality would be the same.

Coop speaks on the Score at 8;40. This might be a good one. I'm sure he'll blame the fans in some roundabout way.

Without a doubt, that's the most white sox move ever. Play is bad, but let's blame fans for not getting out to the ballpark to support this team.

I hope they ask him about the first inning. Last night was another example. 3 runs the first 4 hitters. Nothing after that. Why do teams continue to score in the first inning and what is being done to try to change it? Coop has been eating and drinking his accolades for the past several years. It's time he actually earns them.

Coop wasn't combative this time, but he wasn't taking any blame either. All on the players; nothing on the coaching staff.

Not exactly the same as Hahn's, "We're all in this together".

We'll see how this organization looks in 5 months. Hopefully different.

He is right. It should be on the players. I think we have all become numb about salaries. $10 million a year isn't all that much anymore, but if some stiff is making $200k a year, that is usually considered doing pretty well. It would take 50 years to get to $10 million. They get paid a lot more than coaches for a reason. If there were coaches that could make minimum salary guys, $15 million a year players, they would get paid a lot more money than the players.

Well sure, make sure to dump the only non-insider. Can't blame the heroes.

i will keep on saying this, there has to be a reason why the players are not responding enuf to win. pitchers can not forget to pitched, esp the ACES, the hitter can not forget how to hit, the defense well ..... they were never that good anyway.
