gatnom
QUOTE (SoxPride18 @ Jun 18, 2015 -> 03:36 PM) Better be cash considerations. If it's between the two of them, I don't think it really matters.
Balta1701
19 games at AAA, ERA of 5.5, WHIP of 1.85 on the year. Looks like he's thrown 34 innings in 19 games so he fits the bill as "replacement long reliever and maybe spot starter at Charlotte". Hopefully doesn't have to see the big league squad for any reason and is nothing but a guy to help the Knights roster replace Carroll. Buehrle>Wood
I imagine it's just Noesi's "depth" replacement.

caulfield12
QUOTE (GreenSox @ Jun 18, 2015 -> 09:20 PM) Isn't that NOesi? Well, the odds are 50/50, same as with Drabeck. Any other team could end up going after him, but it's also possible he accepts the assignment. If I were him, though, I'd probably be looking for another organization/better opportunity. Can't imagine an org. would give him a better opportunity than he had here. If Drabek got through, he'll get through. Not that it matters really.
