South Side Fireworks Man
Eaton takes a straight fastball right over the plate for strike two.
OmarComing25
QUOTE (fathom @ Jun 19, 2015 -> 09:30 PM) Dodgers for Seager, Urias and another arm. The Dodgers wouldn't do it. The only packages team would be willing to part with would be far from equal value for Sale.
Jose Abreu
QUOTE (fathom @ Jun 19, 2015 -> 09:28 PM) This has to be the last game for Ventura and Steverson, right? Not with a day game tomorrow. I think they'd pull the trigger on an off day, if they ever decide to fire him.
fathom
With the way things have gone, Melky will single to CF and Soto will get thrown out at home due to a bad slide.
Balta1701
I saw Eaton get hit, hope rose, then Hawk excitedly said "and here comes Melky" and suddenly my heart dropped. Prove me wrong Melky, you've already got in as "automatic disappointment" in my ears.
Dick Allen
Maybe Melky can get a hit but make it a full count to give Geo a better shot.
South Side Fireworks Man
Let's see if Melky can do something good here.
Chicago White Sox
There's really no reason to keep Steverson around at this point. The entire lineup is underperforming and it's not entirely due to a lack of talent. Half of the team has terrible approaches at the plate and part of that falls on the hitting coach. May not be fair, but there is no downside it firing him and maybe it finally wakes up these f***s.
caulfield12
Cabrera better hit a walk off...or he's going to leave the field to a cascade of boos.
Jose Abreu
QUOTE (OmarComing25 @ Jun 19, 2015 -> 09:33 PM) The Dodgers wouldn't do it. The only packages team would be willing to part with would be far from equal value for Sale. We'd be the ones to say no to that. A top five player in baseball on a cheap contract is worth more than two top ten prospects. Edited June 20, 2015 by Jose Abreu

Condor13
QUOTE (StrangeSox @ Jun 19, 2015 -> 10:28 PM) Trade the poor guy to a contender. He deserves a shot. He deserves to pitch for Toronto. But I don't think they have enough to trade for him.

whitesoxfan99
QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Jun 19, 2015 -> 09:31 PM) The sox dont. I was surprised. Sale was cruising and had no high stress innings tonight. I really don't get pulling him with the way he was throwing.

Baron
One thing that I've noticed...what we think is fair and what we've been getting from certain trades is not the same. We normally get much less than expected. Part of the reason why I'm extremely resistant to trading Sale.
