I agree Southsider.. i remember when the season started, i heard many of calls on the Score that wanted carlos out of there because he didnt have an RBI until 2 weeks into the season... (i just happened to be at the game he got his 1st RBI when the ump got attacked against KC)... So to anyone who doubted Carlos... GO SOX + #45! I prefer to praise Carlos and Maggs and the meat of our order than worry about the ninth inning. I hope Everett, Thomas, et. all talk it up in the clubhouse and celebrate. Oh by the way, If carlos finishes STRONG, the last three weeks, he has to be considered a strong MVP candidate. IF he stays hot, his numbers compare to the other guys, hes on a winning team, and he also has 17 sbs. He has to at least be considered. Of course we need to make the playoffs too. .298 BA 28 HR 100 RBI 87 RUNS 17 SBs And there are still 18 games left...............MONSTER year. When the whole team was going bad, early, that is one thing I noticed. Carlos seemed to be trying to pull the team out of it's funk by busting his ass whenever the opportunity presented itself. That's what I luv about this guy. U can plug in anywhere in the order and he'll produce for ya. He seems like a guy who's just happy to be playin baseball to me.
